First few days of our 10 days vacation we've spent in beautiful Sequoia National Park. We've been told by everyone that it's not the best place and that 1- 2 days is the maximum that everyone would spend there but we love trees, we love big trees even more and so we decided to stay there for 3 days and in the end we felt that it was not enough!
Here's the official web site to see more information about Sequoia National Park - http://www.visitsequoia.com/
The park was established in 1890 and it's about 404 acres.

Daniel inside the tree. We couldn't believe the trees could be that huge! |
On the first day we went to General Grant tree trail in Sequoia National Park and then to Kings Canyon National Park - scenic road. I loved the scenic road even more than the big trees and on the pictures you will see why, but at another day we discovered Giant Forest and it's been a dream! I really miss this place and want to go there again!
The second part of our day was even better!
We were driving on Kings Canyon National Park scenic drive and it is the most beautiful road I've ever seen! We drove in few scenic roads after that but nothing could compare to this one! The worker of Sequoia National Park told us to go there and just drive and see if we want to explore some trails on that road and I'm beyond happy that we did it!!! The road itself is very well done and safe and views from it are just breathtaking!
Here you can see some videos.
That was my favorite part - to see mountain river and high mountains around! And the color of water is just amazing!!!
And of course we took some pictures!
Stas can make waterfalls look magical and even better than in real life!
